This website celebrates the more than 200 years of our Town's history. The Town of Patterson, New York, is located in the northeast corner of Putnam County, with Dutchess County, NY, along the northerly border, and the State of Connecticut along the eastern border. Our Town has a very rich and interesting history. This website attempts to tell some of the stories from our past, but it can only offer a glimpse at that history. This site is an ongoing effort, and more stories will be added - and corrections made - as more information and materials become available.
